1. LA Writer Hoping for a Partner Writer, poet, reader, a vegetarian(I love to cook and bake), Leftist and hyper-political. I do yoga and play tennis, as well as explore the history/architecture of Los Angeles. I am from Asheville, NC and was an art history/German major/French minor at UNC-A. I enjoy writing, extemporaneous historical blather, trivia, research, concocting day adventures; I love to dance, baking and cooking(spicier the better!). I have a very soft spot for camp. Music: Bjork, Sigur Ros, Marianne Faithfull, Jens Lekman, the Cardigans, Courtney Love, Tori Amos, Kristin Hersh, Madonna, PJ Harvey, Fiona Apple, Liz Phair, Loreena McKennitt, Sinead O'Connor, Alanis Morissette, Euro techo(Annie, Air, Stereolab), Flamenco, Hildegard Von Bingen, classical and Opera(Maria Callas and Wagner, Berlioz are favorites), Nina Simone, Judy Garland and '60s Motown. I listen to KCRW and KPCC(my NPR member station) and KPFK.
