Looking in all the wrong places
I try and think I am a good person but I do have some faults that I am not proud of. I am now living for my future and make amends with my past. I can be insecure and confident at the same time. Brave and scared is an internal battle that I fight constantly. I can be self motivated but do appreciate motivation from outside sources. I have no clue what I want from life but I make it up as I go along. I can now say that I am an international traveler, passport and all. The grass DOES look greener on the other side.
I am able to say all this about myself because I am finally allowing myself to really know who I am. It has taken me years to figure all this out and be confident with what I have done. Currently, I am attending school full time (even during summer breaks) to pursue my Associates in Science and this time next year I should start working on my bachelors. I am still unsure what I want to do with my life and I can't even answer this questions. I know that I am headed in the right path and God has led me this far, he will lead me until I know where I am supposed to be. I may not be a religious person but I DO believe in God. I have a mind and I do use it often, I am highly opinionated but I know how to filter my thoughts before they are spoken. I tend to try to hard to be a friend and forget about the most important person in the world...ME.
This year, I have decided that 2011 was going to be MY year and I am not going to allow anyone else to determine how it will end. The reason I do things this year is because I want to do them and not because I am influenced by another person. So far, my frame of mind has led me to a very good start...
