I'm basically a nerd that shows extreme interest in a huge range of things (music, movies, TV, comics/webcomics, video games, online media, computers, etc). This is important for me to be upfront about.
I balance out being ridiculously overly-intellectual and sarcastic most of the time with being a complete doofus on occasion -- I'm probably just a doofus through-and-through, and maybe one day I'll learn this and stop trying so hard. I'm annoyed with being gay in college because I haven't met any guy who's just gonna kick back and play video games or something. From years of having best friends that were sarcastic, nerdy, straight guys, those sorts of dudes are my realm of interest. I know there are nerdy gay guys out there, and I'd like to be at least friends with them, because not having any gay friends has been pretty detrimental to me.
I don't actively pursue dating. What is a date anyways? I'd rather play Halo or Super Smash Bros than go out to dinner, either for the purposes of sleeping with someone or getting to know them. There are lots of other things I like to do, but you know what I mean (maybe).
