I like cowboys for their down to earth sincere nature...They are grounded individuals...I like cowboys who read and philosophize about life and art...yet know how to team rope a calf or ride a bronc...a man with roots in the land and stamina in his dreams...a romantic with vision...a realistic visionary who can create with his hands...A real cowboy for me is like my father who is a real working rancher...A real man who can shed a tear...and yet beak a horse's will and ride it proud up a mountain trail...My father is my example of a real cowboy...And this is what I will look for in my Cowboy that will stand tall next to me the rest of my days building my Art Ranch in Northern New Mexico...My dream to bring the life of the cowboy southwest and the arts together in a communal way for a group of men in their 40's/50's/60's...Modern day adventurers living off the land...I crave art and nature to fill my soul...I need my companion to touch my shoulder and caress my head till i fall asleep...I desire holding my partner while massaging his tired shoulders till he moans away his fears...I want us to build an old-fashioned adobe ranch house in northern NM on my fathers ranch land and grow vegetables and create art...Invite friends from around the world to stay and read books and ride horses...you and i make love and grow old...taking care of one another...make love..living off green technology...creating art...living as brothers...living in nature...raising the cattle and farm animals...letting the labors of our heart be the fruit of our soul till we rest our heads on our ranch's soil at the end of life's journey...That's the kind of man I am looking for...Are you out there???
