Hi, my name's arawn & I live in Berea. I moved here seven years ago from San Francisco where I lived for 25 years. I have a Bachelor's degree from the University of Kentucky in English literature. I was a teacher at one time. Now, I'm writing a novel & putting together a graphic autobiography. I'm interested in a wide range of things from the serious to the silly: architecture; travel; politics; art; fashion; jazz, blues, opera, classical, & rock 'n roll; movies of all sorts except westerns. I like to travel, especially to places where I can experience new cultures, learn new languages, eat great food. Venice & Paris are my favorite cities other than San Francisco. My current travel fantasies are Istanbul & Buenos Aires. I am passionately anti-racist & anti-sexist. I don't believe that I am better than anyone or that anyone is better than I am. My politics are liberal & my lifestyle is simple. I own a modest home where I live with my dogs. I'm not religious although I have an affinity to Buddhism. More humanist or agnostic than anything.
