I just survived my 40th birthday, a trip to Italy (over there during the WTC disaster) and decided I `ve spent too much time alone recently. Does this qualify as a MidLife Crisis?! I hope not. I have a good parcel of friends but no one `special`. Any way to change that is a wel-ed one. But it has to be done slowly. There ain`t gonna be no whirlwind romances here. A coffee date is a perfect start. Just enough to wet the feet but not make you shrink inside your surfshorts! I enjoy movies (3 a week average!), music, theater, reading, working out, a good cup of coffee, a nice plate of pasta, big desserts, children, and a good cry. I also enjoy a good laugh so don`t worry. I think of myself as a romantic and sensual guy, more than a sexual one. If you get that, I`m glad...doesn`t explain well. As for my ideal man....I have to admit I truthfully do not have a "TYPE". Many body types, ethnicities, ages and hair colors can excite and intrigue. Heck I`m not afraid to admit that grey hair or even bald/balding can be HOT HOT HOT. I prefer a guy who is-fortable being gay but not a total flame. Here is a list of some of the FAMOUS people I`ve been known to find attractive so you can gauge my `types`: Kevin James, Matt Lauer, Sean Penn (a bad boy!), Andrea Bocelli (very cute and blind....so what!), Garth Brooks, William Petersen (CSI), Arye Gross (see the new movie BIG EDEN if you don`t agree), Ted, Dr Dave and Michael on Queer as Folk, Paul Rudd, Edward Norton, George Clooney, authors John Irving & John Grisham, Steve Martin, Patrick Stewart (though not a Trekkie of any sort)and....brace yourself....even Tom Arnold! And I`m much more a BEN person than a MATT person. The enjoyment of kissing and cuddling is a must...and sometimes sex is entirely secondary. I`m getting old! Energy must be used sparingly here in California! I`ve had a rough time recovering from my recent vacations so if I`m slow to respond BE PATIENT.
