Right now I am at a stage in my life where I have been previously. On one hand, I am happy doing my
own thing but at the same time, I would like to share my experiences with someone else. I feel that I have had some successes professionally but on the relationship side of things I have been less than successful. I have had 3 relationships over my adult life which lasted from many months to several years. My interests outside of work are working out and travel for leisure. I do not go out much to bars and clubs. On the rare occasion that I do go out, I enjoy myself. I just am not a frequent flier in bars. I never have felt that bars could be a place to meet someone for a relationship. My past experience with the clubs is that you end up meeting someone who you really do not have much in common with. I prefer to meet people on my own or through mutual friends. But I have found that my friends never really know exactly what might work for me. So, I have stopped taking their referrals.
I would like to have a stable relationship- and that is what I am looking for. But I am not pushing things. If the romantic connection does not work out, it might be nice to make a good friend. Mostly, I would like to have a good friend to out with and have dinner, coffee or drinks.
