New to Denver... checking it out Welcome to the Get To Know Bad Andy Section! I just moved to Denver June First. Being new here I do not have a large base of good quality friends and still get lost quite easy! I work in the field of prepress and graphic design. I have built a nice career out of it but I am thinking about going back to school. I also have a large background in Democratic Politics and Political Consultanting, Hiv/ AIDS outreach and LGBT Rights work. I just ended my job with the Wisconsin Democratic Party where I was the First state party LGBT director in the US. I have also worked for the DNC, Howard Dean, Nancy Skinner for US Senate, Paul Vallas for Governor and a slue of local races. You can find me out at a club about twice a month; if you do I am there to dance. I to enjoy losing myself in the beat of some well mixed dance music (even if the music is not so great here in Denver). You will find me wandering around places like the botanic gardens, looking for hiking partners, exploring the city and at many of the more cultural places in Denver. I tend to be shy when I first meet people which is odd because I have to talk to thousands of voters and am not shy to go up and shove a sticker or hand out in your face. So do not be shy and make up for the fact that I am shy. I think I am a pretty good friend but you can request a written referral from anyone on my friends list if you would like. I am honest to a fault, fiercely loyal and the type of guy you can bring home to mom. I may not have the best fashion sense but I have a big heart that makes up for my lack of wearing the right shirt to match my shoes. I am a huge Dork that likes to read, play video games, I`m learning the game of golf and wandering around! Also I am corn fed and farm raised I am a real cowboy. I grew up on a horse farm in Illinois so I am a Midwest, overall wearing farm boy :-D I know how to ride horses and even been known to ride a bull or two. (Get your mind out of the gutter!) New People... maybe a date. Who knows
