I chose to live my life in a way that would help others (including my partner) and not give into fea r. To have appreciation for the squirrel on the bird house or stop what I'm doing if a little dog wants to play. For ME, this is how I'm meant to live. While I'll probably having you laughing in the first 5 minutes; there is a person beneath that. And, you would surely get to know him. And, he might not be what you expect. I like seeing the world, quiet evenings reading in a snuggle, making dinner, laughing and talking about our day. If you're not looking for that than I'm not your guy. I guess by (dear) 33 you begin to know really who you are. I've become casual in appearance since moving - no ties and white shirts. And, I'm OK with that. Not that I won't dress up for the theater or a nice dinner - it's just not the norm for me anymore. Sometimes, I cry. Usually it's at something beautiful. Oh, I always recover! :) I live at Sunnydale which is a non-working 20 acre farm - complete with a fishing pond. It's beautiful, I inherited the house, and I plan to stay. My Godsister, Mila, who is a Physician, lives here. She's very gay friendly and the house is large enough that you don't deal with her much. My Godmother also lives here. She has Alzheimer's and is dying. I work out of the house doing IT and business and accounting for Mila's practice. Thus, my hours are flexible. I feel like it is important to talk about this as it is the situation that I'm in everyday. There might be something you can't deal with. I'm too old to play; so I'm seriously looking for another person who I can proudly call, "My Partner for Life." So, that's me, warts and all. If you want to do the same, please do. I am looking ONLY for a long term relationship. For me, the games are over. :)
