I can be described as caring, romantic, honest, friendly, but also tempered a bit with no-nonsense a nd impatience. I¬ím a good friend and good listener¬Ö very loyal to my friends and happy to help when I can. I¬ím good to talk to because I can keep a secret. Although I am gay, it¬ís not the first thing people notice about me. In fact, most people don¬ít have a clue unless I tell them. I must say that I have two distinct sides. On the one hand, I like to think of myself as a romantic. I grew up in Florida and love the beach¬Ö walking in the moonlight or even falling asleep to the sounds of the ocean snuggled in someone¬ís arms. I also love sitting by the fireside in the winter or a nice candlelit dinner anytime. I also love a nice hot shower with someone or a bubble bath for two. On the other hand, I¬ím definitely very masculine and love sporting events, working out, biking, outdoor activities, playing sports (like touch football), and wrestling. I am sure a lot of guys think that someone who is romantic and likes all the things that go into home and hearth to be somewhat effeminate. There are others who probably think a jock-minded guy wouldn¬ít give a rat¬ís patootie about hearts and flowers and love. However, I like to think that I have found a happy medium between these two extremes and would like to meet someone else who has as well. I¬ím a social person with my friends, but don¬ít really enjoy going out to bars a lot. Usually if I go to a bar, I go to dance¬Ö I love it. I¬ím also just as comfortable in a straight bar as a gay one. I like to drink on occasion, and str8 people seem to make cocktails as good as gay ones.  I also have a sense of humor and a playful side and would like to find someone who is serious minded when it is appropriate, but also can cut loose and have fun. I¬ím looking for an attractive guy with a good personality. Personality is key. I have been out with guys who were gorgeous, but who were either vacuous or totally arrogant. And just like a great personality can make an average looking guy better looking, the reverse is true as well. I also want someone who is articulate and can carry a conversation. I also want a guy who is humorous, spontaneous, true, honest, brave¬Ö Boy Scout anyone? Sorry¬ÖI just really want someone who is a lot of fun, nice, and who makes me happy. And hopefully in return, I¬íll do the same for him. Tall order, huh? Do I have a split personality?? Maybe so¬Ö maybe that¬ís part of my charm. But you¬íll never know if we don¬ít go out. Wow, if you¬íve read this far you must really be a glutton for punishment. One more thing... just about my interests. I like sports (particularly football & hockey), comics (HUGE DC fan, but also like Image and Dark Horse), sci-fi (Farscape, Buffy, Angel, Star Trek), movies (all genres), music (most types except for country & rap), dancing, friends, shopping (yeah, but I¬ím still masculine), going out, staying in, outdoor activities (canoeing and other stuff involving water), etc. If I left something out, hit me up¬Ö I might be interested in it too.
