Friend--in an attempt to be honest with you regarding the racial 'thing'--a number of factors come into play. I am an older white dude who prefers white dudes---I do enjoy conversational friendships with non-white men and women and fully respect a man for who he is and what he does. Racial-profiling is a natural fact in our society, but my first argument for why I don't date non-whites is that politically/media reinforced fear of those who are socially set apart and are raised differently. Trust is difficult when I am not knowledgeable in the distrust on both sides. Will these small-minded wrongs ever be corrected?? We can only hope so---do I hate/dislike any entire race/color of people??
No---I truthfully do not---fear, ignorance, and misguided loyalties are my basic 'rationale' for my own injustices but there are still many other [just as immoral] justifications in silly-ass Caucasia-land.

I don't think race is a factor , it might be something else . You might not find white guys who like to date outside of their race yet.I met white men who only date black guys and other chocolate and bwon skin people, and they don't date other white men. Of course there are racist people out there, the same way there are some white who only date white, there are some blacks who only date black and other color people and don't find white guys attractive so it goes both way. Someone trash is another man treasure. So it depends on the person, me as a black guy I dated white , black, hispanic, as long you are a good human being, I like what I see and we have things in common that's all it's matter. |

I being a person of color find that it’s very difficult to find someone interested in interracial dating or even dating for that matter these days. I really like white guys and some latin guys, but I can’t get myself to liking other black men for2 reasons. 1) incidents of the past has me not ever wanting to be with another black man ever and 2) I have gone out with a white friend of mine and got the nastiest looks and comments from other black men in the bar (particularly1 nite a popular bar in Houston that has a lot of gay Black men on Sundays). |

For a minority that often as to face adversity we shouldn’t turn on each other in spite of race, but sadly there are people in the world who don’t feel comfortable dating outside other races.
