no its not us white & asian guys seem to only be in to each other like its really sad I'm saying in seattle & the oakland bayarea it doesn't matter how good you look if you are not white or asian no date and some clubs won't even let you in ...sad.. |

You wpould think being of a oppressed group gays in america would not be so race limiting..however..I find it to be more so..than general society..Some of my friends will sleep and party with men of color but in the morning they make sure they use the back entrance.Gay culture has always been a petri dish of americas ugly lil secrets amplified..so in this cae there is no difference..sad to say..Now where did I put that Cuban ballplayers number.. |

Friend--in an attempt to be honest with you regarding the racial 'thing'--a number of factors come into play. I am an older white dude who prefers white dudes---I do enjoy conversational friendships with non-white men and women and fully respect a man for who he is and what he does. Racial-profiling is a natural fact in our society, but my first argument for why I don't date non-whites is that politically/media reinforced fear of those who are socially set apart and are raised differently. Trust is difficult when I am not knowledgeable in the distrust on both sides. Will these small-minded wrongs ever be corrected?? We can only hope so---do I hate/dislike any entire race/color of people??
No---I truthfully do not---fear, ignorance, and misguided loyalties are my basic 'rationale' for my own injustices but there are still many other [just as immoral] justifications in silly-ass Caucasia-land.
