Does anyone else besides me find it difficult to extol their own virtues? Man, this thing is hard to write... Where to start... okay, first I'm not a true Southerner. I love living here in Texas, but alas I was conceived in the Great White North. But now that I'm here, this is what I'm up to: I10d to be a workaholic, which usually happens because I don't have anything (READ: anyone) else to-pete with my time. I also like to go out with my friends and get a little loud... okay, a lot loud. I love to country/western dance and go whenever I get the chance (I'm a great lead, but I can't follow to save my soul). I'm not a felon. If I have only1 or2 days free, you'll find me hitting the antique stores or little out-of-the-way mom-and-pop shops. If I have more than2 days, I'm hitting the open road.1 thing that you'll notice about me if you hang around long enough: my head is the full of the most useless trivia ever conceived. However, I KICK ASS at Trivial Pursuit and Weakest Link and if you ever want to know who invented the manhattan or what Barbie's full name is, I'm your man. What else... I clean up really well, but unless I can't possibly help it, you'll usually find me in boots and jeans (here's what I've discovered: loosening my tie and undoing my collar button doesn't make me look casual it makes me look hammered). I'm a very low-maintenance kinda guy (despite others' best efforts). I hate folding laundry and I can justify leaving my clothes in the dryer for days because they're just going to sit in a dresser drawer, anyway (plus the dryer does a better job of folding than I do). I'm a very tactile person (one quality I got from Mom)-- I'm a big fan of hand-holding, hugging, snuggling and dancing reeeal close. I have the world's coolest dog-- a lab/shepherd mix named Caroline who's my litmus test for potential dates (if she doesn't like you, you have a snowball's chance in Hades with me). I'm fascinated by thunderstorms and I choose to believe that people in this world are inherently decent and, given the opportunity, want to be heroes. I've been exposed recently to the wonderful world of skydiving. I think I just found a new obsession. I'll fess up to1 more thing: I'm extremely, extraordinarily superficial. But I'm aware that I'm extremely, extraordinarily superficial and I poke alot of fun at myself because of it. Just be careful once you get past that... underneath it all is a heart that breaks waaay too easily. I have now run out of things to talk about. However, if you feel there's something I haven't covered, just ask... I'll answer anything, so long as it's personal. =) And I hate to inform you of this after you've made it this far, but if there isn't a photo attached to your response, your chances of a reply drop dramatically. It's only fair, isn't it? So, good luck and remember: Expecting the world to treat you fairly because you're a good person is like expecting a bull not to charge because you're vegetarian. Play nice.
