I am Learning to Play Piano My name is Mike. I was born in Cleveland, Ohio. I have lived and worked all over the country. I currently live in Florida. My biggest thing lately is learning to read muscial notation and play the piano. I have an M-Audio Keystation 61es hooked up to my Mac and use GarageBand to record and arrange my tunes. I then upload them to MacJams[----] for people to rip on. It's good, clean fun. If you know how to read music and could help me learn, that would be so freakin' cool. My favorite styles of music are "Classical", Rock, Blues, Bluegrass, Punk, Alternative ... well, pretty much anything. I would like to immitate Rick Wakeman who is my piano idol. I wish I could make my fingers do what his fingers do. I also program on my Mac and sell the software over the internet. It's not a huge amount of money but it very satisfying to know my brain energy has spread through the internet. Cool. I have a gigantic cat. He's a Maine Coon and he weighs in at about 30 pounds. He's a very mellow cat. He can play piano, too. Seriously, I taught him pay the keyboard for treat. It's funny.
