I’m a well-educated, well-travelled mid-aged gay man who relocated from WA State back to Maryland when both of my parents got sick. I’m now in charge of my family’s 340-acre historic Maryland farm where I live in our 1828 classic Maryland sandstone farm house. Our farm used to raise Black Angus cattle, but now we mostly lease over 100 acres to a local agribusiness. The remaining acreage is forest and waterways (we are bordered by the beautiful Monocacy river). What am I looking for? In a phrase, other like-minded gay friends. I’m tired of the only outlets for gay men in my State being gay[----] and CraigsList’s men-seeking-men. While I’ve been told my area has a big gay population, I sure haven’t found where they hang out. And since I am a proponent of agriculture, I probably don’t fit the typical club set. So, here I am.
