Let`s see what happens! My name is Jonathan (Jay), I am a 27 year old, 6'1"/240lbs (give or take) single guy living in Houston, TX. I am a rock/pop/alternative singer/songwriter working on my "big break" at the moment. My life is kind of in a transitional period at the moment and involves a lot of travel for work purposes and spending a lot of time with my friends and family. I've kind of taken myself out of the dating game for a while here because it just seems to really go nowhere and I don't really have time. Having said that, I am open to dating or the occasional "casual encounter", but it's not at the top of my list, you've really got to be an impressive guy to change my mind on that front. I'm very passionate about my singing and songwriting and it takes first priority in my life. It has been my life's dream since I was 6 years old to be a "rock star" and after a long wait and lots of hard work it seems to be slowly, but surely, coming to fruition. I definitely have to say that it has been a frightening, overwhelming, and gratifying thing to actually witness your dreams come true, it's still not real to me yet, it will probably take some time to sink in I suppose. My definition of an "impressive guy" would be someone who has their life together or is getting their life together. This would include a job, a place to live, your own mode of transportation, ambition, goals, and a desire to settle down with someone for the long-term. Self-confidence, determination, emotional security, and sensitivity are all really big turn ons for me in a man. You know what you want and you go after it, aren't afraid to show your emotions, and you know how to be a gentleman. Physically, I prefer a guy who is my height or taller, the taller the better, more on the cub/bear/musclebear build, dark hair and light eyes make me melt, around my age or older (25-45), usually attracted to white/hispanic/middle eastern guys (no offense, just where my attraction lies).
