I10d to be shy when first meeting people but my mother taught me to be polite, so I try to let that habit carry me out of my shell. I have a rather self-deprecating and slightly irreverent sense of humor- although my friends would argue that it is very irreverent, at times. And I love to laugh. I also have a serious side but I am in no way morose or depressing- perhaps just a bit introspective, at times. I think I am always striving for a balance. As for the type of guy that pulls the strings of my heart....well, he is an everyday kind of guy: happy, masculine, healthy, funny (very), introspective, spiritual, intelligent, mature, grounded, and most importantly, real.
