Down to earth Cowboy here I’m a down to earth cowboy from Wyoming. I grew up a working and rodeo cowboy, riding [email] and saddle broncs with a couple bulls thrown in for fun. Somehow an 8 second near death experience is not my idea of fun. None the less, I’m just looking for other down to earth friends. Mostly interested in other working and/or rodeo cowboys, ranchers, ranch hands, farmers, farm hands and country guys.
If you call yourself a bull rider, please don’t send me a shot of you on a steer unless you were 12 years old at the time. I don’t find the so-called gay rodeo rodeo at all. Somehow grown men riding Little Britches and womens rodeo events is not rodeo. If you want to call yourself a Rodeo Cowboy, then pony up for your permit, fill it out and earn your PRCA card. Steer riding, chute dogging and calf roping afoot just don’t cut it. Try bailing off a running horse at 30 miles an hour onto a running steer and wrestling it down. THAT is bull dogging. As for calf roping afoot, guess what: That is not rodeo either. If you take offense to this, don’t whine to me it. I have only2 words: Cowboy Up! If you whine to me about the prairaie fairy rodeo being rodeo. It is not. ’Nuff said.
