IN A FEW WORDS....
A loyal and educated very fit but muscled guy -- very much his own bear in T-shirts, blue jeans and work boots most of the time -- looking for a few good friends. I`m a marketing communications/graphic design/multimedia professional, and a symphony musician who likes to blow -- eh, play, eh...his trumpet. (Almost 6`1, 225 lbs., some kind of facial hair except on my head...where I voluntarily and regularly shave smooth what God is involuntarily taking away from me.)
I have no use for pomposity, stupidity, or disloyalty. Or, as someone said to me the other day, I`d rather be beaten by skill and grace, than with deception and subterfuge.
SOME OF MY INTERESTS: Music performance (trumpet and piano), multimedia and filmmaking, acting, theater, live music, outdoor activities (hiking, camping, etc.). (By the way, camping for is putting up a10t in the wilderness and not renting a room at the Holiday Inn Express next to the Interstate highway.)

For that matter, trying so very hard to be super butch without a soul is another form of drag -- and shows me that you have some very serious major unresolved issues which probably are being discussed behind your back by others. The fact is that there is really no difference between a drag queen with big hair and stiletto heels, or someone who tries to impress and scare the world with big tattoos and dressed in leather drag working overtime trying to look menacing when they are actually trying to mask their severe lack of self-esteem (or their need for a psychiatrist). More often than not, these posers often get themselves pictured in front of their needlepoint on the wall, antiques and stuffed animals in the background. Or for that matter, there is little difference between someone who goes around with the smell of hairspray and cologne and those who have no concept of regular and daily personal hygiene. Don`t be hiding behind Tibetan Singing Bowls, healing crystals, and another materialistic signs of new ageism and spiritualism or other dogmas unless you really mean it and feel it in your heart and your gut. While I respect those who are strong in their spiritual beliefs, I have no use for the evil-angelicals or evil-unethicals.
For me, the meaning of life is about being incredibly human, CONSIDERATE, open and honest with some secrets that are not life shattering to be discovered by others! I have no objections you being dressed up in your leather and harness (skin of a dead cow dyed black), but just be a nice person, be honest, be intellectually honest, have a good sense of humor, and don`t try to make yourself out to be someone who you really are not. Live your life so that when you die, you`re the1 who is smiling and everyone around you is crying.
In return, if the chemistry is right, chances are that you`ll meet a kindhearted, straightforward, and upfront and principled guy with an occasionally wicked and whacked sense of humor who actively tries to maintain a NO DRAMA zone around him. While I`m not afraid to a bit goofy at the right time and place...I`m most definitely no vacuous male version of Paris Hilton. (Vacuous: 1. Devoid of matter; empty. 2. Lacking intelligence; stupid. 3. Devoid of substance or meaning; inane: a vacuous comment.)
By the same token, often times I am astonished at the lack of diversity on tolerance in the community. We expect everyone else in the world to practice tolerant to the gay community, but I`ve seen too often than not situations where individuals (and organizations) practice ageism, lack of tolerance to ethnic backgrounds, physical disabilities, etc. It makes me sick to my stomach when I see when it happens and I shun those situations with a deep sense of disgust and indignation. (Indignation: 1. He moved about in so utterly ridiculous a manner that the Beasts, in a fit of indignation, set upon him with clubs and drove him out of the assembly. (Aesop`s Fables) 2. outrage 3. a strong emotion; a feeling that is oriented toward some real or supposed grievance.)

If the previous paragraph was too long, here it is in a Reader`s Digest version: I hate posers and people that live for drama and backstabbing. I go out of my way to treat people the way I want to be treated. I really make an effort to not let the little things bother me and I just want to enjoy my wonderful life here on earth and hopefully with someone who loves me endlessly, and will allow me to give the same in return.
And please, for everyone`s sake -- 1) be pleasant, 2) have integrity, 3) be nice to others (but don`t be a doormat), and 4) live life as if you MEAN IT!
