I teach political science in a college Looking to make friends, find men in my neck of the woods to correspond with, date, for possibly long-term relationship. I`m socially fairly conservative, not really into the bar/club scene, mostly because it is just too loud and too crowded. I`m a college professor, so I appreciate men who are well-read, reasonably conversant with current affairs, articulate and witty. Good-looking never hurt anybody, but we all know that beauty is only skin-deep, so I`m much more interested in a man`s personality, interests and general outlook on life.
I have a touring motorcycle, so meeting other bikers would be a fun plus. Same thing with horseback riding--I keep a horse in suburban Essex County--so meetings other gay riders is a secondary goal.
I have a small place in the Catskill Mountains in New York State, and I love fishing, walking in the woods, bird-watching, swimming and generally hanging out in the country, when I can.
