A nice guy looking for new friends. I am in all honesty just about the nicest guy anyone would want to meet as either a fun person to hang out with, a lasting friend or a committed partner. I have a sincerely kind and generous personality. I am very happy to not fit into the typical lifestyle of many gay men in today’s world. I do NOT care for the bar scene for several reasons. I have my profile on this site in the hopes of contacting, maybe even meeting other masculine gay men who also have little care for all the silly games that, sadly, many gay men continue to play, even well into their 50s. I am looking for other, again, masculine, men who are also individuals of solid character, depth, integrity and who have within themselves a sincere, kind and generous heart. I am interested in nice looking men around the ages of 35-52. I possess a good, in shape body and am in excellent health. If you are looking for someone with rock hard abs and a killer body, I am not for you and you, not for me. I am interested in men who have height and weight proportionate to each other; who are also in good physical shape. There must always be mutual physical attraction between any2 people, but what really matters is the soul of the person; the depth of character, the level of integrity and the sincerity of heart. A great sense of humor and ability to laugh often also goes a long, long way. I know this profile will cause many men who read these words to not want anything to do with me. And that is OK. I have an established, professional job for 18 years with the same company. You also should be well employed or in this poor economy, actively seeking new employment. I am a practicing Catholic and while I consider myself a spiritual man, I also recognise my need still do better in living the kind of loving, compassionate life that the Gospels call me to live. Again, these words will cause many gay men to have no interest in me. Again, I am not looking for numbers, but quality. I live right on the very edge of Lake Michigan in Chicago. If you closed your eyes while on my deck you would not know you were not on an ocean beach. The sound of the waves is so peaceful and why I love my condo. While I live in the city now, in a few years I plan to move to a place in the country. My plan is to have a nice home surrounded by trees on at least 4-8 acres of land with nice flowers, fresh vegetables from the garden, newly cut wood for the fireplace and hopefully, the Good Lord willing, a loving, sweet man sitting next to me on the front porch on our swinging bench drinking nice wine, while only listening to crickets and the sound of the wind moving through the trees. Oh, and yes a few great dogs by our side, preferably Golden Retrievers. I love to cook, drink single malt scotch and nice wines. I have a BFA in photography and love to paint. I love all kinds of music ESPECIALLY Country, Classical, Classic rock and movie scores, many from John Williams. I love music from the 1940s right through the 80s as well as some current music of today. I do not like rap or club music, which really is not music. Music is defined as that having a melody. I love live theater, going out to eat and looking through antiques stores and flee markets. I love history, world sciences, and things like the Discovery Channel.
